Standard Life (Asia), the Hong Kong-based part of UK-listed Standard Life, the asset manager, has launched a new product that gives Hong Kong clients a wider range of investment choices while using digital management tools.

Harvest Wealth Investment Plan is designed as a solution for the long-term financial planning of both local and international customers, with the goal to increase wealth and boost financial security. The range of investment choices include equity, money market, hedge funds, property, fixed income, commodity and energy and mixed asset. Investors receive access to digital tools and updates via iPhone and iPad applications, as well as a dedicated website.

The benefits include a cash parking facility available in seven different currencies, higher death benefits of up to 105 per cent of the account value, and exclusive membership to the Pinnace Club, a group that offers tailored assistance for investment needs.

As an introductory offer, Standard Life is giving customers who successfully applied for the plan between 19 September and 31 December 2012 a total extra allocation of as much as 70 per cent. They will also be automatically eligible to join the Pinnacle Club and enjoy privileged offers worldwide.

"Harvest Wealth is the first Standard Life product to include tax planning benefits for international mobile clients residing in Hong Kong by offering the choice of having 1 or 100 identical policies to allow contributions, benefits and notional units and cash account value to be spread equally," the firm said in a statement.
