Orion Advisor Solution
Orion Advisor Solutions has partnered with State Street Global Advisors to launch a suite of low-cost model portfolios. The financial advisor tech and investment solutions firm has also rolled out two thematic stock and direct indexing strategies.

The State Street arrangement provides Orion users with access to the US financial group’s investment solutions group. The access goes via Communities, Orion’s model marketplace, and Orion Portfolio Solutions, a division of Orion Advisor Solutions and Turnkey Asset Management Program.

The stock and direct indexing strategies launched by Orion are called US Biotechnology and US Metals and Mining, and are designed and managed through Orion’s SMA portfolio optimization tool, ASTRO.

“State Street Global Advisors and the SPDR Family of ETFs [exchange traded funds] are one of the biggest names in asset management, and they bring a great deal of optionality at an extremely low cost at a time when it is critical for our users to show their value to clients,” Orion Advisor Solutions’ chief investment officer, Rusty Vanneman, said.
