eMoney Advisor Revamps Platform To Enhance Digital Client Experience

Wealth planning solutions firm eMoney Advisor will release a completely reengineered version of its advisor and client platform tomorrow to keep in line with the ever-growing demand for superior digital client experience.

The wealth planning solutions firm eMoney Advisor is to release a new version of its advisor and client platform tomorrow to keep in line with the ever-growing demand for superior digital client experience.

The emX solution will offer a "streamlined" user interface, it said, as well as new financial planning options and resources to improve collaboration and efficiency.

It will also provide goals-based financial planning tools, business analytics and new reports, as well as a social security analyzer and state income tax calculator, among other features. Advisors will be able to benefit from mobile access, while clients will have a live financial feed with alerts and system updates.

"We believe this is the new norm for doing business," said Edmond Walters, founder and chief executive of eMoney Advisor. "If you're not implementing an integrated technology solution today, you'll be out of business in a few years."

Digital is often seen as an important part of attracting and retaining clients by providing accessible information and ports of contact with advisors; however some resilience remains for interactive personal relationships between advisors and their clients.

According to Walters, as advisor and client expectations continue to change, those advisors who combine their expertise with leading technology will “provide the best client experience and be the most successful.”

The emX solution integrates with technology providers including Morningstar, Orion, Redtail, HiddenLevers, Albridge Wealth Advisors, Envestnet, Brinker Capital and SEI.

Conshohocken, PA-headquartered eMoney provides its services to 25,000 financial service professional across RIAs and banks, as well as 46 of the top 50 broker-dealers in the US, it said.

Last month, the firm announced that client assets tracked by emX hit $1.4 trillion.
