The latest moves and appointments in the North American wealth management industry.
Newfront
Newfront, a brokerage
firm, has added former Bank of America figure Rich Schainker to
its retirement services team. He brings more than three decades
of experience to the role.
At Bank of America, Schainker served as director of employee benefits for nearly three years. Previously, he was senior regional vice president – retirement plans at Invesco for 19 years. He has also served in leadership roles at John Hancock, Principal Financial Group, and T Rowe Price.
Based in San Francisco, Schainker will serve clients across the US.
Allspring
Allspring
Global Investments, the asset management firm with more than
$541 billion in assets under management, has appointed Melissa
Murphy as head of public relations. Murphy, who will direct
Allspring’s PR globally, reports to Debbi Tippett, head of
corporate communications.
Prior to this, Murphy worked at SunStar Strategic, and has spent more than two decades leading PR strategies for asset manager firms.
Fidelity National Financial
Fidelity
National Financial has appointed Brian Maughan as executive
vice president, chief innovation officer. In his expanded role,
Maughan will analyze trends and market disruptions, search for
emerging market and technology opportunities, and direct
investments into new and existing initiatives.
After leading the product management and marketing of an early-stage startup that pioneered digital signatures technology, Maughan joined FNF. As chief marketing officer he has spent the last decade advancing technology initiatives, sales and marketing efforts, and real estate technology investments across the FNF's complete enterprise. Along with the firm's chief digital officer, Jason Nadeau, Maughan has led the strategy and development of FNF's transformational digital initiatives and solutions.
