The founders of Old Town Advisors, based in New Mexico, have joined Concurrent Advisors and Raymond James.

Presidents David Baland and Liatriz Levy, and client relationship manager Amanda Burrows previously managed about $300 million in client assets.

Concurrent has supported the breakaway team at Old Town Advisors after a quarter in which newly-independent advisors managing a total of nearly $1 billion of AuM have affiliated with Concurrent, it said in a statement.

Based in Tampa, Concurrent was founded in 2016 and serves 145 advisors in 66 offices with $12.7 billion in assets under management. Its network of financial advisors are registered representatives of Raymond James Financial Services.
