Capital Group
Capital Group,
which oversees more than $2.7 trillion in assets, has appointed

The board was formed more than two years ago.

"We regularly share the insights from the members of this board to the RIAs we support, on everything from client management strategies to ESG investing and the need for diverse talent pools.”
Other members come from firms such as Coldstream Wealth Management, DeVoe & Company, Oxford Financial Group, CJM Wealth Advisers, Cerity Partners, Wellspring Financial Advisors, Private Wealth Advisors, and Transcend Partner Group

Credit rating and market intelligence firm S&P Global has
appointed prominent economics writer and historian Dr Daniel
Yergin as vice chairman following its merger with IHS

Dr Yergin will serve as a member of the leadership team and report directly to S&P Global president and chief executive Doug Peterson. Previously vice chairman of IHS Markit, his appointment became effective at the close of the merger, S&P said in a statement earlier this week.
"Daniel Yergin's strong track record as an award-winning author and highly respected authority on energy, international politics and economics make him a tremendous addition to our leadership team," Peterson said.
Dr Yergin's latest book is entitled The New Map: Energy, Climate and the Clash of Nations. His book The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil Money and Power was awarded the Pulitzer Prize and became a number one New York Times best seller. He is also the author of the bestseller The Quest: Energy, Security, and the Remaking of the Modern World and co-author of Commanding Heights: The Battle for the World Economy. Both The Prize and Commanding Heights were made into award-winning television documentaries for PBS and BBC, which Dr Yergin co-produced, co-wrote and helped narrate.
Dr Yergin is co-founder and chair of CERAWeek – presented by S&P Global – a major energy conference. He has served on the US Secretary of Energy Advisory Board under four US presidents. He is a director of the Council on Foreign Relations, a trustee of the Brookings Institution and serves on the Energy Advisory Council of the Dallas Federal Reserve.
Dr Yergin is on the Advisory Boards of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Energy Initiative and the Columbia University Center on Global Energy Policy.
