Brothers Harriman has appointed Michael McGrann as managing
director in the firm’s Center for Family Business, based in
Philadelphia (pictured).
"The addition of Mike to the BBH team will help us further our mission to be a trusted thought partner to private business owners as they manage complex issues around succession, growth, and legacy preservation,” Ben Persofsky, executive director of the Center for Family Business, said.
In addition to his work supporting private business owners, McGrann has taught at several universities. He founded the Family Business Center at St Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. McGrann is a faculty member of several business accreditation programs – including the Exit Planning Institute and the Family Enterprise Advisor Program. He also teaches an MBA class at Columbia Business School focused on family enterprises and family offices.

Raymond James
has welcomed financial advisor Taylor Thompson to its independent
advisor channel.
At Thompson & Co Wealth Management in Rapid City, South
Dakota, Thompson provides wealth management strategies to a
variety of clients including business owners, families and those
nearing or in retirement, as well as endowments and foundations.
He was previously affiliated with LPL Financial, where he managed
more than $250 million in client assets.
