The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in the North American wealth management sector.

Ballast Rock Private Wealth, an RIA based in Charleston, South Carolina (pictured), has appointed Troy Davidson as a wealth advisor, serving high net worth and ultra-HNW clients.

Most recently, Davidson was a vice president and financial consultant at Charles Schwab, where he managed more than 300 household relationships valued at more than $1.6 billion, including $480 million in assets under management. 

Davidson’s experience includes having served as a VP and financial consultant at Fidelity Investments and as a wealth management advisor at Merrill Lynch. Davidson is a Chartered Wealth Strategist and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor. He holds an MBA and bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University.

Ballast Rock Private Wealth was formed in 2022 by investment management firm Ballast Rock.

Raymond James has welcomed financial advisor Kevin Walker to its employee advisor channel.

Walker Walls Wealth Management is based in Naples, Florida, where Walker is joined by advisor Danielle Walls and senior client service associate Courtney Gayle. Walker was previously affiliated with Morgan Stanley and managed approximately $260 million in client assets.
