Ameriprise Financial
Financial advisor Ronnie Sansom has joined the independent
channel of Ameriprise
Financial, from Edward Jones with $110 million in assets. His
practice is located in Andalusia, Alabama and includes branch
administrator Karen Philpott.
The practice is supported locally by Ameriprise franchise field vice president Sabrina Tacheny and Ameriprise regional VP Tres Rouquette.
Milemarker
Milemarker, a
technology platform working with independent broker-dealers and
RIAs, has appointed Kailash Duraiswami as its chief technology
officer.
Previously, Duraiswami founded Pantenix, an artificial intelligence platform that automated manual data-entry processes for alternative investments. In 2021, 18 months after its launch, Pantenix was acquired by Orion Advisor Solutions, where Duraiswami continued as an architect on Orion’s data streaming platform.
Duraiswami graduated from Emory University with a degree in financial economics and has spent over a decade working as a software engineer, entrepreneur, and technology leader in the financial services industry.
With six core use cases – including system-to-system sync, firm analytics, centralized workflows, and investment centers – Milemarker says it enables advisors to own their data, streamline operations, and drive growth.
EisnerAmper
Global business advisor EisnerAmper has named Dean
Peterson as international tax services leader.
Peterson has more than 20 years of experience providing tax consulting and compliance solutions for privately and publicly held companies. He advises clients on cross-border transactions, international tax planning, tax treaty matters, international taxation of financial services companies, and tax-efficient structuring across multiple jurisdictions. His practice serves worldwide clients, ranging from startups to Fortune 50, and he maintains a strong network of global contacts.
The firm’s combined entities include about 450 partners and 4,500 employees.
Cetera
Cetera Financial Group announced that Corporate Plans Retirement
Strategies has joined Cetera Wealth
Partners.
CRRS, led by partners Brian Vieselmeyer, Peter Swansen, Jr and founder Gerald M Mirra, provides financial planning and investment advice to clients and has more than $250 million in assets under administration as of July 1, 2024.
The group joined Cetera from Equity Services and operates from White Plains, New York. Cetera Wealth Partners is a community within Cetera Advisor Networks.
AssetMark
AssetMark, a wealth
management technology platform for financial advisors, has
appointed Alex Pape as its new chief technology and product
officer.
Pape will report to Lou Maiuri, chairman and group CEO of AssetMark.
“This is a strategically important move as we continue to strengthen our leadership team to support AssetMark’s growth and innovation strategy,” Lou Maiuri, chairman and group CEO of AssetMark Financial Holdings, said.
Pape most recently served as the global head of product for BlackRock’s Aladdin Wealth Tech Business.
Muk Mehta, chief information officer, will continue to report to Maiuri, overseeing the company’s advanced infrastructure, security, and data strategy.
