The latest news in investment offerings, financial products, and other services relative to wealth advisors and their clients.
Axos Advisor Services, a financial services company, this week teamed up with Forum Capital Advisors to expand investment offerings for its advisors by adding the Forum Real Estate Income Fund to the Axos investment platform.
Now available on the Axos platform with ticker symbol FORFX, the fund is focused on maximizing current income, preserving investor capital, and realizing long-term capital appreciation by utilizing floating-rate debt and targeting investments backed by hard assets with quality sponsors, the firm said in a statement.
“Axos advisors now have a simple ‘point-and-click’ solution for exposure to institutional real estate debt securities – one with competitive investment minimums, no subscription documents, and no investor restrictions,” said Darren Fisk, Forum founder and CEO.
“Since first launching the fund in October 2019, we have built a diverse portfolio of 36 investments across 48 states with gross AUM of $72.8 million, since inception. Forum, together with our sub-advisor Janus Henderson Investors, US LLC provides the fund greater visibility and access to hard-to-source institutional debt investments that it wouldn’t otherwise see,” he continued.
Rob Hellmann, vice president of product management at Axos Advisor Services, added: “The Forum Real Estate Income Fund is a welcome addition to the Axos platform, giving wealth managers entry to the hard-to-access private real estate asset class and the ability to scale private real estate investments across their book of business with a simple ticker symbol.”
Forum, which is a Denver-based, investment advisor registered with the SEC, serves as investment advisor to the fund – a 1940 Act interval fund providing access to institutional commercial real estate debt investments typically unavailable to individual investors.
