Investment manager Halbert Hargrove has appointed Beverly Karns as its newest regional director based in Denver, Colorado.

Karns will work with the Denver team to design and implement investment and wealth advisory strategies, the firm said in a statement this week.

In her new role, she will also collaborate with account leads to advise clients, which include entrepreneurs, professionals, technology company executives and retirees. 

Prior to joining Halbert Hargove, Karns served as managing director of debt, equity financing of Capitol Peak Asset Management, where she was the founding partner of the firm.

"Beverly's industry expertise and local presence make her a natural fit to join our regional team and the perfect complement for continued and further success," said president and chief operating officer, John Abusaid. "Our appointment of Beverly underscores our commitment to the Denver region and to maintaining the elevated level of service that clients expect.

The firm has already appointed Robert Douglis as a regional director, which was reported by Family Wealth Report in January 2017.
