StanCorp Investment Advisors, a StanCorp Financial Group subsidiary, has named Kristie Cahill as senior investment counselor for its San Francisco office. 

Cahill brings 10 years of financial services experience to the firm and was most recently a registered client service associate at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Prior to that, she was an associate financial advisor at Ameriprise Financial Services. At StanCorp, she is responsible for all activities related to financial planning, investment management, estate and retirement planning in the Bay area. 

StanCorp currently serves some 1,300 clients from nine US offices and has around $1 billion in assets under management.
