Rockefeller Welcomes Hassan Group To Northeast Division

Rockefeller Capital Management is continuing to grow its private wealth business with the addition of three team members through the Hassan Group.

Rockefeller Capital Management announced this week that The Hassan Group, an advisory team, has joined the firm’s Rockefeller Global Family Office – part of Rockefeller’s Northeast division – headed by Michael Parker.

Led by Richard Hassan, managing director and private wealth advisor, The Hassan Group includes Matthew Holbrook, senior vice president and private wealth advisor, and Gina Valle, associate vice president and PWM director of operations, the firm said in a statement this week.

The team will be based in Stamford, Connecticut and Boca Raton, Florida, to expand the firm’s offerings in the Southeast. They bring expertise in serving high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, enabling Rockefeller to advance its professional financial service offerings and scale in order to reach a wider clientele, the firm added.

The Hassan Group was previously with Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James.

Earlier in the week, Rockefeller also welcomed the UGroup to its Southeast Division which includes John Uriostegui, Rod Nakamoto, David Sassen, and Regina Monroe.

“From the East to the West coasts, we’re proud that these and other elite professionals are viewing our firm as a place-of-choice for serving clients and developing a practice,” said Michael Outlaw, national field director of the Rockefeller Global Family Office.

“The Hassan team has a track record of strong performance and excellence in client service, and we’re delighted to have them as partners in the division," added Michael Parker, Northeast divisional director.

Hassan brings 28 years of experience at Raymond James, Deutsche Bank, Alex. Brown and Morgan Stanley. Holbrook has worked as an advisor for the past 13 years gaining experience at Deutsche Bank, Alex. Brown, Citigroup, and Neuberger Berman. Valle has worked in financial services since 1994, including 11 years with Deutsche Bank prior to the acquisition of the company’s private client business by Raymond James in 2015.

Rockefeller Capital Management is a privately-owned financial services firm, offering strategic advice to ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals and families, institutions and corporations from 40 locations across the United States. Early in 2022, the firm opened an office in London, and it is responsible for approximately $90 billion in client assets across its three business segments, the Rockefeller Global Family Office, Rockefeller Asset Management and Rockefeller Strategic Advisory.
