Raymond James has made a senior hire in the Golden State.

Raymond James & Associates has hired David Richman as branch manager in San Diego, CA.

Richman, a senior vice president of investments, joins after a 20-year career at Morgan Stanley and three years at Washington Wealth Management.

At Morgan Stanley Richman served as complex manager in Pasadena, CA, and then north Orange County, CA. In his most recent position, he was responsible for over 150 financial advisors and support staff, with around $8 billion in assets.

He joined Washington Wealth Management, a hybrid RIA, in 2013 as market director in Los Angeles, CA. After the sale of the firm, he founded his own business, Middleview Consulting, aimed at all types of advisor business models.
