Massachusetts RIA Brings In Chief Technology Officer, New Private Client Advisor
FL Putnam has introduced a new role focused on technology, and has also added a new private client advisor at its headquarters.
FL Putnam Investment Management Company has recruited Albert Parent as chief technology officer – a new role at the firm - and Glen Martin as a private client advisor.
Both Parent and Martin will be based in the firm’s headquarters in Wellesley, MA.
Parent will be responsible for designing and building the firm’s technology platform, having previously worked at State Street Corporation, Atlantic Trust Private Wealth Management, Banyan Partners and Silver Bridge Advisors.
Martin, meanwhile, will advise wealthy individuals, families and institutions on a range of financial planning services. He previously held roles at US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, Columbia Threadneedle Investments and Fleet Investment Management.
FL Putnam has made a number of announcements in recent months including the appointment of Tom Manning as chief executive and president and the addition of a new private client advisor in Portland, ME.
The firm, which is an RIA, has $1.4 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2016.
