Kestra Financial Names Next President

The firm's new president, due to take up the role in the spring, takes the helm from a man in the post for five years, steering it during episodes such as the pandemic and the rollout of new services.
Kestra Financial said yesterday that John V Amore, its head of wealth management, will be taking on the post of president from the start of April.
He will be replacing Stephen R Langlois, who is retiring at the end of this year. Langlois will remain on staff as a senior advisor through the end of the year.
Langlois has been in the post for five years. Prior to joining Kestra, Langlois held senior positions at leading wealth management firms, including eMoney Advisor, Fidelity Investments, and LPL Financial.
Amore has led wealth management teams for more than 19 years in the US, Europe, and Latin America. Prior to joining Kestra Financial, he led global businesses at UBS across a variety of wealth management channels. Amore began his career in management consulting in the financial services sector and earned his MBA/MIA at Columbia University and his BS at Boston College.
Kestra, headquartered in Austin, Texas, oversees $103 billion in assets under advisement.
