Athletes and entertainers face intense pressure and temptation, but many do not receive the education and counsel they need in order to plan for a secure financial future, the firm said.

Kelly Wealth Management at HighTower has launched KWM Sports & Entertainment under the leadership of managing director and partner, Richard Rosa.

The new division works with professional athletes, coaches and entertainers in the areas of financial planning, budgeting, cash flow analysis and portfolio management.  

For 22 years, Rosa served as a principal and sports agent at Eastern Athletic Services in Sparks, MD, where he represented top NFL players and coaches.

KWM Sports & Entertainment is Kelly Wealth Management's second new venture in 2015. Earlier this year, the team established its KWM Cares charitable giving division, through which it volunteers and contributes philanthropic support to local charities and causes in the Baltimore area.
