Hedge Fund Association Names Cayman Islands Chapter Co-Directors

The Hedge Fund Association has appointed Christina Bodden and Colin Nicholson as co-directors of its Cayman Islands chapter.

The Hedge Fund Association has appointed Christina Bodden
and Colin Nicholson as co-directors of its Cayman Islands
chapter.

Bodden is a partner in the investment funds group of international
law firm Maples and Calder, with a focus on the structuring of private equity
funds and the related transactions. She also works with institutions and hedge
fund managers, as well as their onshore counsel, advising on the structuring and
ongoing operation of all aspects of investment funds.

Nicholson is a partner with the alternative investments
practice of KPMG in the Cayman Islands and is
the head of learning and development for the firm. He serves on the Cayman
Islands Society of Professional Accountants Executive Council and Public
Practice Committee and was also a member of the board of directors of the CFA
Society of the Cayman Islands. HFA said Nicholson
has 15 years of professional experience with offshore alternative investment
and private wealth management clients.  

At the end of November, HFA named
Thalius Hecksher as regional director for its Southeast chapter, and appointed
Robert Sawyer to the newly-created role of regional director for the
Boston, MA, chapter.
