The Caribbean jurisdiction will be on show in this panel discussion in Miami.

The opportunities that The Bahamas offer as a financial center will be on show in a Family Wealth Report panel discussion in Miami, Florida on October 24. The event is held in conjunction with The Bahamas Financial Services Board.

A jurisdiction well known to many in the US and wider wealth industry, the Caribbean IFC’s qualities need to be better understood, particularly in more challenging geopolitical circumstances. 

The discussion, held during the afternoon, features a conversation with Senator The Hon Michael Halkitis, Minister of Economic Affairs of The Bahamas. That dialog is followed by a further discussion involving industry experts on topics such as what The Bahamas offers for private clients, international arbitration, its global connectivity, and its financial ecosystem. The panel is followed by a cocktail reception.
