Outstanding practitioners were honoured last night at the WealthBriefing European Awards 2014 event in the grand setting of London’s Guildhall, the latest in a run of awards ceremonies held around the globe by ClearView Financial Media, publisher of this website.

Hosted by BBC newsreader and documentary presenter Sophie Raworth – returning after wowing the audience with her charm and stories at last year’s inaugural ceremony – attendees were welcomed by Stephen Harris, chief executive of ClearView Financial Media, and by Stewart Foster, CEO of Third Financial. Adding a delightful musical element was the Scottish Ensemble group of classical players.

Awards were granted not just to institutions but to individuals who have made particular contributions to an industry that has faced a mass of challenges in recent years.
