Digital Digest: The Latest Tech News - Bambu, Vestwell

The latest developments in technology products and investments in North America.
US-based digital record-keeping platform Vestwell has teamed up with Singapore-based robo advisory tech firm Bambu.
By using Bambu's wealth management application programming interface (API), Vestwell and its partners can offer personalized investment strategies for clients. (APIs are software intermediaries that allow two applications to talk to each other – a crucial quality when melding different wealth firms’ systems.)
The partnership with Bambu helped Vestwell release its advisor managed account offering with Franklin Templeton.
Bambu has more than 70 wealthtech APIs. It serves about 300,000 end users on the platform in 10 countries. PEAK6 Investments and Franklin Templeton fund Bambu, an organization founded in 2016. It has a subsidiary in the UK and the US, as well as representatives in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
