The latest M&A deals in wealth management across North America.

Focus Financial Partners
Focus Financial Partners have agreed to bring two US wealth management firms into its network, adding to other organizations under the group’s umbrella during 2018.

Aurora Financial Advisors joins Boston-based RIA The Colony Group (which joined Focus in 2011). Separately, WG&S joined Los Angeles-based Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman, also part of the Focus cluster of firms.

The transactions are expected to close in the first quarter of 2019, subject to customary closing conditions, Focus Financial said in a statement at the end of December, 2018.

Earlier in December, Focus Financial Partners added family office and business management firm Altman, Greenfield & Selvaggi (AG&S) to the partnership.

In a series of partner agreements aimed at reaching more ultra-high net worth clients, Focus Financial Partners added family office and business management firm Altman, Greenfield & Selvaggi (AG&S) to the partnership. The group of independent wealth management firms also said Alpern Wealth Management and Griffon Financial Planning joined existing Focus Partner Buckingham Strategic Wealth as part of expansion plans across the US.
