Advisors, has made a “strategic investment” in Dechtman
Wealth Management, a financial planning and wealth management
practice with $800 million in assets, located in the Denver area.
The size of the investment wasn’t disclosed by Chicago-headquartered Hightower, which has made a number of recent acquisitions and investments, such as its majority stake in investment consultant and outsourced chief investment officer business NEPC, announced in October. The Dechtman business is Hightower’s sixth investment this year.
Dechtman Wealth Management has a team of eight people, led by three partners: Jordan, the founder, and his two sons, Sam, and Adam Dechtman.
Hightower, which now has 140 advisory firms in 35 states, had $156 billion in AuM as of June 30.
