Custom House Makes Double US Appointment

The provider of financial services to the alternative investments sector has boosted its operational and sales capabilities in the US.
Custom House Global Fund Services has hired Sebastien Sacre as managing director of its Chicago office and John Lumley as head of sales for the Americas.
Sacre previously worked at JPMorgan Chase, where he was vice president and office lead in the private equity and real estate services group, managing the fund administration for private equity funds of several clients. Prior to that, he was senior manager within Ernst &Young's audit financial services industry group.
Lumley has 16 years' experience in fund administration and was previously product head for global fund services at JP Morgan. He has also held roles at GlobeOp Financial Services, Deutsche Bank, and Salomon Brothers. At Custom House, Lumley will be based in New York.
“Sebastien is responsible for the running of our Chicago office and also the further enhancement of our PERE offering while John's invaluable experience across operations, product and business development places him perfectly to lead Custom House's growth in the region,” said Mark Hedderman, chief executive at Custom House.
With over $20 billion in assets under administration, Custom House provides fund administration services to over 200 managers and 500 investment funds, working with family offices, hedge fund managers, start-up managers and institutional managers. The firm has offices in Chicago, Dublin, Geneva, Guernsey, Hong Kong, London, Malta, New York, Rotterdam, Shenzhen, Singapore, Sofia and Sydney.
