Citizens Private Bank Appoints Head
The new head of the private bank previously worked at First Republic Bank, Wells Fargo, US Trust and other lenders.
New York-listed Citizens Financial Group, said that its Citizens Private Bank has named Susan de Tray as its head.
The firm said in a statement that de Tray previously served as senior vice president, deputy chief credit officer and head of credit administration for First Republic Bank where she oversaw a $200+ billion consumer and commercial loan portfolio. Previously, she served in leadership and credit risk management roles at Wells Fargo, US Trust, The Bank of New York, and JP Morgan.
Based in San Francisco, de Tray will report to Brendan Coughlin, vice chairman and head of consumer banking. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Barnard College, Columbia University and completed the General Management Program (GMP) at Harvard Business School.
Citizens Private Bank has teams in Boston, New York, Palm Beach, Florida and San Francisco.
